Hello! My name is Ellie and I recently moved to South Burlington, VT. I grew up with two sweet, albeit occasionally rambunctious pugs, Mollie and Rudy. I love my dogs more than anything (they truly are family to me!) and I am eager to make some more adorable, furry friends. Whether it's just a brief neighborhood walk, a long walk through forest trails, hiking, running, or a week long stay, I am here to help out with your dogs in any way possible! I’ve had experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages and have been called a dog whisperer by many, though I don’t see it that way, I just see them as my friends :) My hours are flexible, I am willing and able to do whatever is necessary to accommodate your pet's needs, and I am available by text, email, and phone. I can't wait to meet you and your wonderful pets!

Ellie has a special place in her heart for all kinds of animals. She is kind and loving but also full of energy and playfulness which our dogs love. Ellie is a very responsible, mature, and dependable young lady who strives for excellence in all that she does. She is thoughtful and patient. Whether your pet need an energetic walk or a loving lap and some cuddles, Ellie is the one for the job!
Ellie absolutely loves dogs. I have watched her with the family pugs, Molly and Rudy. She is SO patient, and talks to them quietly and they respond, and quiet down if they are excited. She seems to see them as her true friends, cuddling them and treating them with love and respect. She likes to cuddle and comfort them, too. (Like symbiosis) ! She also can gently distract them from "unacceptable" behavior. She's a "natural" with animal pets. I would recommend her to anyone who would wish for a kind, responsible, person to walk their dog.
Ellie has shown her love and care for her two adorable pugs more than I have ever thought was imaginable. She takes care of them as if they were babies; to her they are! There is no one better I would have watch over my little pups.
Ellie Cheff is one of the most genuine and sincere animal lovers I have ever met. She loves spending time with her own two pugs that although quite a handful at times, she never lashes out at or gets angry with. Ellie is a true and kind spirit who understands the needs and personalities of all animals. She is responsible and trustworthy and dedicated to the full care of all creatures, especially dogs. I recommend without reservation Ellie Cheff for a dogsitting position. She may just be the best girl I know to do the job.

I would like to know if your dog has any health conditions that may arise during my time with them, including instructions explaining how to properly tend to any issues. Another important piece of information to me is whether they get along well with other animals. I know that some dogs can be prone to panicking around other dogs and people, so if this is the case with your dog please let me know ahead of time! I want to be able to ensure the total safely of your pet at all times.
A typical day
While with your dogs, I will fully commit my attention to them! If they want to sit down and relax, I will do the same with them, but I will also encourage them to be active. I can take your pets on walks anywhere you would like in the Bangor area--Brown Woods, the Bangor City Forest, the trails in my neighborhood--as long as you are comfortable with this. I will play catch with your dogs, frisbee, tug of war--I will even give them a bath if you would like! I am happy to fulfill all reasonable pet owner requests and make sure your dogs have a fun and safe time with me.
