Greetings. I am a certified pet trainer for ANY kind of pet. For dogs, I can train your dog while I walk them and visit them! But if you don't need or want training, I'm thrilled to just be a buddy to your pup for a few hours. When I do train, I use positive reinforcement, so I never punish, yell or use dominace with an animal for anything. I am happy to share my training techniques with you so you can learn to train your pets too! I'm in my mid 30s and have been working with animals since I was 14. I work with and train exotic animals as my career! I can work with any species of pet animal you have. That includes but isn't limited to birds, cats, reptiles, dogs and more. I'm immersed in the animal world every day and genuinely enjoy their company and hope they enjoy mine.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service provided by Ellie. We searched everywhere for a solution and paid serious money for a dog trainer to come to our home and help. That dog trainer turned out to be pretty much worthless. Then we found Rover.com and Ellie had the answers we needed and helped save our dog. Her insight into pack behavior and her in-depth knowledge gained from years of experience provided the solution. Ellie came to our home and was very polite and professional. We applied the techniques she recommended and within a month we'd made huge progress getting our dog under control. I give Ellie my highest recommendation. She continues to follow up with us by phone to this day. I find it difficult to imagine a better dog trainer-teacher than her.

My dog was a very rambunctious puppy. Ellie knew how to interact with her to stop her jumping, excitable behavior and has taught her many important social skills, as well as sit, stay, walking on a leash without pulling and letting me know when she needs to go out for a bathroom break. My dog gets very excited when Ellie comes over and I trust my dog's opinion.

A typical day
For dog walking, I enjoy giving them the opportunity to let their nose lead them (on-leash) and is always a fun way to start the walk. This is their time to explore (safely) to enrich and stimulate them!
