Hello everyone! My name is Ellie. If you’re looking for someone with extensive animal care knowledge, consider me to watch your pets! I am a certified veterinary technician at Metzger Animal Hospital. I have grown up with animals my whole life and knew I had to find a career where I work with them everyday! I have had all sorts of pets including cats, dogs, exotic pets and birds, including animals of all ages-young and elderly (geriatric pets have a special place in my heart!) I can confidently medicate your pets with any daily meds they may need, including injectable medications like insulin. Being a vet tech, I am trained to monitor my own pets for any changes in behavior or habit, and will do the same with yours. I know what is an emergency and will seek veterinary care with your pet if needed. I have 2 cats in my home currently and a senior dachshund, all of whom get along well with other animals. Ellie is a gem! She is dependable, follows through and follows up. She also is gentle hearted. I was a little reluctant of leaving my senior dog in the care of one set of eyes, but that faded when I met Ellie. She obviously loves animals and wants to connect with them. Animals know who's a good egg and who is not. Mojo indicated that she's more than a good egg, she's a gem. Thank you Ellie! I'll see you again next month.
I have known Ellie B. since she was a little girl. She has always had pets and has been a wonderful caretaker of her animals. I would trust her with my dog on any given day.
Ellie would be a terrific pet sitter. She has cared for both dogs and cats in our home and has always been a very conscientious caregiver. Ellie currently works in a cat hospital and will be pursuing further education in a vet tech program. Her love of animals and her commitment will make her a wonderful pet sitter.

Availability
My schedule at my veterinary hospital job will soon be 13 hour days on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday..limiting my availability on the weekends. However I am free Monday-Thursday all day and would be able to consider weekend pet sitting based on what your pet needs or if they could stay at my home.
