Hi! My names Ellen and I'd love to keep your fur babies happy while your away. I have my masters I'm child education, but fell in love with veterinary medicine. I am currently a surgical nurse at an all cat hospital most days, as well as work in an urgent care with dogs regularly as well. Before studying veterinary medicine I volinteered at shelters as a walker and obedience trainer. My animals are my best friends and family so I understand how important it is so know that they are happy and safe when their family is away. My rates are not particularly competitive, this is because I am your best pic for advanced medical care needs and like to keep my calender open for those in need.

I have a small but safe fenced in front yard, living in West Philly we do tend to utilize walks to get the beans out!!! I believe the trick to be a good petsitter and the trick to being a good pet nurse are the same : treat all animals like you would your own pets!!! A deep appreciation for animals ans understanding of animal behavior leads to a positive connection with our furry friends!

Number one is always going to be dietary restrictions and allergies, medication dosages and administration times. Next is their personality preferences for other animals of course. Aggressions issues etc. Lat but not least just how they like to spend their time, things that bring them joy.
A typical day
Enrichment is important. I do a lot of training with my clients as this stimulates them both mentally and physically. Dogs that do require more exercise I enjoy hiking with. We do not do dog parks as my experience has been that the risk is too high for booboos
