I’ve worked professionally with dogs and cats for 10 years. As well as being a pet owner my whole life. I first started out at a doggy daycare/boarding facility, then on to animal shelter work. At both facilities my main duties were to feed, water, walk and care for the animals. Sometimes groups of 50 or more dogs would play in a group supervised by one person, me. I have many skills in dog behavior and body language. I’m very comfortable with dog to dog introductions and interactions and can quickly gauge a situation based on observing small body language cues. I’ve handle dogs anywhere from 1 to 100 lbs and can easily gain trust of nervous babies who take a while to warm up. I’ve also developed a great respect and appreciation for cats after several years of working in the shelter environment and have knowledge and experience in their care and comfort. I love caring for all things big and small. I have experience with reptiles as well if needed.
