I am an RN I have had dogs for 42 years. I also do cat rescue and have cats in my home. . I do agility with my dogs and have a mini course set up in my backyard. I have experience giving dogs and cats medications. I play ball and walk my pets and can do simple grooming. I am retired now and I am home all day,available weekdays, weekends and holidays.. . I cook for my pets, chicken, hardboiled eggs. I can only take dogs that are good with cats. I also have 2 spare rooms upstairs if the dogs need to be away from other pets. My home is fully air conditioned in summer and heated in winter. We have lots of dog toys and beds. I live in a neighborhood with shady tree lined streets , which is perfect for walks. In winter if there is a lot of snow, I shovel trails for the dogs to walk in the yard. My yard is fully fenced with a deck and a lot of shade. In summer the dogs love to lie on the deck with me. I am an outdoor person and go out in all kinds of weather. Of course if your dog is a couch potato, we can handle that too. I have tile and wood floors so messes are an easy clean up. The furniture is not off limits and I like snuggling with my dogs and cats. I have loved animals all my life and really enjoy taking care of them. I can do some obedience training and I can also handle dogs recovering from surgery. I can also handle dogs not fully house trained like puppies or elderly dogs. My dogs ages are: 10 and 5 years old.
