Pet care experience
Hi, we are a friendly family who loves dogs and would love to take care of yours. My 14 year old daughter will be the primary caregiver for your dog. She will go on daily walks, feed, and give lots and lots of attention to your dog. She is available full-time. I will be there too to oversee the dogs, but she will be the one who spends the most time with your dog. She has plenty of previous experience dog sitting. We also have experience taking care of puppies. Our two-year-old, 60 lb golden doodle is super social, friendly, and gets along with all dogs. She will be thrilled with having your dog as a playmate! We have a large, fenced in backyard with a dog door. Your dog will have a great time running around in it as well as the daily walks we will give to your dog. We love exercising our dog in the Berkeley and Oakland hills, Point Isabel, Albany Bulb, Stinson Beach, and local parks and dog parks.

Ellen & family were really great. My dog Willow is young, energetic, and very nervous around other unleashed dogs, and I was worried that she would be a barky pest the entire time I was gone. Ellen's family was really kind and willing to patiently introduce Willow to their dog and their home. When I picked Willow up, she said 'hi' and then ran back out to the back yard - and when we got home she had a little sulk, so I think it's safe to say she had a good time! I am definitely planning to use Ellen and family in the future!
There is nothing better than a dog sitter who makes you feel as comfortable as possible when you drop off your best friend. Rusty (10yr old, blind, Chiweenie) came back from a two night stay with Ellen and got right back into the pace of life. That is always a good sign that he was well cared for. Thanks Ellen and family! We'll absolutely be booking with them again.
Ellen and her family watched our blind Chiweenie Rusty and we could not be happier with how it went. They were very thoughtful to his needs and listened intently to us as we have some info on Rusty. On top of all that Ellen was communicative and understanding about us picking him up later than we had discussed. I would recommend having them watch your pet. They’ll treat it like their own.
Ellen and Tobi are wonderful pet-sitters. They have watched our dog Poppy many times, both daytime and overnights. They give her lots of love and fun excursions, plenty of exercise and a safe environment. When there is any issue, they are good at communicating and we have been able to figure out a solution (such as bringing our dog's crate to their house for some downtime when she had an accident on a previous dog-sit). I feel 100% confident leaving my dog with them.
