Pet care experience
Hello! We are Dylan and Ellen, and we are full-time dog lovers. I grew up with a Portuguese Water Dog and, until I moved, helped care for my sister's rescue dog (Pitt/Boxer mix). My husband, Dylan, grew up with a lovely yellow lab and is always ecstatic about having furry friends around. Our favorite dog-care activity is walking or running, so your pet will get plenty of those! Aside from our personal experiences with dogs, I also volunteered at a local dog shelter in Michigan, where I walked dogs of all shapes and sizes multiple times/week. We regularly did Rover stays when we lived in North Carolina, and now that we are established in Texas, we want to build up our network again!

Ellen and her husband Dylan are THE BEST!! Lula and I have lived in a few cities and have found great sitters everywhere we've lived, but none have been as special as Ellen and Dylan. They shower her with love, and the many photos they send to keep us updated on how she's doing give us the peace of mind to enjoy our travel and also affirm how much Lula loves them. We couldn't be happier with the experience!
Ellen and Dylan are wonderful. Great communication and easy to work with. They kept me updated the entire time. When I picked up Bubba he was so happy and full of energy so I know he had a great time.
Winston had the BEST TIME , they were great in keeping me up to date with lots of pictures and what they were up to! Would defiantly use them again
Ellen and her husband Dylan are amazing! They love my pup like she’s their own, and are so kind and warm and patient with her since she’s a puppy. They are prompt in responding about scheduling/availability, and showed me grace and understanding when I was running late from work. They could not have been more incredible with Ginny. I would recommend them to anyone needing a sitter for their pup! They will treat them like their own family, they’re the best! I’m so grateful for them.

We especially love weekend stays, as we have a completely open schedule that we can fill with long walks and plenty of attention. I have my own method of transportation and can transport your dog around, if needed. Can't wait to meet you!

Information Ellen S. would like to know about your pet
It is vital for me to know your pet's behavior around other people and dogs. This will not restrict me from sitting your dog - I just want to ensure the safest environment for your pet, and this will help me to create it. Is your dog very high energy around other dogs/animals, or do they get very anxious? Do they play rough with other dogs? Are they friendly towards adults and/or children? It is helpful to know the dog's temperament ahead of time, as well as any activities to do (fetch, walks, runs, etc) or avoid. I am open to any breeds.
A typical day
I love to walk or run with dogs. I am open to any environment, so let me know if you have something specific in mind! I usually opt for walks around a neighborhood, where there are plenty of exciting smells and sights for the dog to experience. I would love to play fetch/frisbee with your dog, as well.

Availability
I am a resident in healthcare with somewhat regular hours away from home. However, Dylan works from home, so we regularly have one human home to hang with our guests! He will fly back out to his home office approximately one week a month. If you're looking to book with us during the weeks he is away, please be aware that I cannot always be home at lunch to let dogs out or manage "day care" stays. Please reach out to us with you requested dates and dog details and we will let you know if your request falls on one of those weeks.
