** NEW - I am now charging a meet & greet fee of $15, this will be booked separately as a drop-in visit when a meet & greet has been scheduled. You will need to confirm the drop-in visit prior to the scheduled meet & greet otherwise I will not show for the meeting. Following the meeting, if agreement is made to book the stay, the $15 will be taken out of the total. This is not to deter you from booking but as a sitter I do not get any money from doing meet & greets. I do those on my own, personal time and with the economy and gas prices as they are it is not feasible to do free meet & greets anymore. ** Throughout my entire life, I have had multiple pets (dogs, cats, fish, birds, rabbits, and snakes). Since I can remember, my sole purpose in life was to take care of my pets as if they were my own children. I currently have a dachshund mix and a cat. Both are spoiled to death. I love all animals and enjoy providing them with the love and care that they need. I am willing to do more than my preferences state, depending on the need of the family. **i live in Watsonville and currently work full-time; Monday through Friday (8a-5p). I do work from home, most days but can still only accept animals that can be left alone for at least 3-4 hours or longer **

Ellen is very responsive when booking. We did a weekend before we booked for our vacation. Ellen was amazing. She took amazing care of my pups. We came home and our house was neat and tidy the way we left it. Our pups were super happy and it meant a lot to me to be able to go away and know they were in good hands. Ellen is friendly and very trustworthy and I could tell our dogs were well taken care of.
Came home to some very happy pups. Ellen took amazing care of our pups. We are so pleased with her responsiveness from booking request to meet and greet to staying at our house and we can tell our fur babies were well taken care of. We were so happy with Ellen's services we immediately booked for our next vacation. Thank you Ellen!
Meet and greet went well. Our pups seemed to like her. She was punctual and friendly. We have hired her for dates in August.
I chose Ellen because she has experience with cats, having a few of her own. She came to my house for drop in visits for 2 Indoor cats and 1 outdoor cat while on I was on vacation. I was very happy to get home and not smell the litter box. Cats had plenty of food and water in their bowls when I got home. Everything was as I had left it, only a water bowl puddle. She sent me a message and picture after each visit. This was my first time using Rover and I would definitely use Ellen again. She was very easy to deal with, followed my instructions and left everything clean. Thank you Ellen!

The main thing I would like to know is how the dog gets along with other dogs (if I take them on westcliff, doggie park, doggie beach, etc.). Do I need to be aware of any barks that the dog makes (are growling sounds an indicator of the dog's fear or a sign of play?)
A typical day
I love taking dogs down to the doggie beach in Santa Cruz (if the dog is friendly) and walks along westcliff. I enjoy hiking, so if allowed, your dog may join me on a hike (I will be bringing lots of water!). Otherwise, around the neighborhood or anywhere the dog currently loves to go.
