Pet care experience
I have loved and cared for animals my entire life starting with my first job working in a doggy day-care and continuing on to volunteer with the SPCA of Texas. I have been a dog walker and sitter for over 10 years and have cared for all types of animals; from couch potato senior cats to hyperactive puppies. I have 3 dogs of my own, a Chiweenie who loves to hike and adventure and 2 rescue pitties who I have trained and worked with tirelessly to ensure they are healthy, safe, and happy. I have experience with all types of leash equipment and behavioral issues, having had to work on many with my own animals. I love meeting new pups and getting outdoors. Whether your dog needs a quick potty and indoor playtime or a run along the trail, I am happy to help!

Ellen is great! We have used her several times! This time was our longest time away, and we felt in such good hands. With an older and much slower dog, her care, along with photos and messages always made us feel assured! Highly recommended.

This is the second time Ellen has watched our cat and Golden Retriever, for drop-in visits. We were so glad she was available during our vacation...we felt our pets were again in very good hands! I like to know the energy level of a dog before hand so I can plan activities and routes based on their preferences. Some dogs need special care in extreme weather conditions, so I always request information on their tolerance for cold, heat, snow, or rain. Having full knowledge of any pup's dietary restrictions and medical needs is my top priority. I love all dogs, big and small.
A typical day
My dog and I love running the hiking trails around NWA and make frequent trips to the dog park and pet store. We love to play with sqeaky toys and throw the ball around the dog park or enjoy a game of tug.

Availability
I work from home so with enough notice I can make just about any schedule work. I am usually open on weekends if your pups need to be looked in on.
