I have dog sat before and had a Sheltie for over 20 years. He was a member of our family. My children used to say that he mourned my presence when i was away. Lol I enjoyed brushing him, feeding him his special diet and keeping him company. He came everywhere with us: ballgames, vacations, relative visits, etc.. He was crate trained so if needed ( to calm him) he would easily go into his bed to rest. I am presently taking care of a dog that weighs about nine pounds. Although he can be challenging, I enjoy he's company ! I worked for Camp Bow Wow for period of time and had the pleasure of walking dogs during their owners work schedule. I also did drop buys for cats, turtles, fish, chickens and birds.
