Hi, My name is Ellen and I have owned and worked with dogs and horses my entire life. I am recently retired to WNC, after a twenty year career of teaching horseback riding to children and adults. . I have had some amazing dogs in my life and have never met one I didn’t love. If you have a young dog, I would welcome the opportunity to help train it. I think I have a knack for it, or at least I’m told I do :-). I would love to come meet you and your dog/dogs and see if we’re a good fit. Ellen house sat our great dane for two nights. She came over about a few weeks before we left to meet Cali. She is an obvious animal lover. She had a list of questions and wrote down all the answers. I have never felt so comfortable leaving my dog. She also sent photos to my phone of Cali relaxing on the porch or the couch. I hope to use Ellen to take care of Cali anytime we go away.
This was our first experience with Rover and Ellen R. was a delight with her attention to Charlie’s needs and daily routine. She kept us updated on all activities and sent photos of her walks to the lake with Charlie. We look forward to other trips away in the future and welcome Ellen to again be here for Charlie. Ellen was so kind when she met Sonny ! He liked her right away. She was also extremely flexible and we appreciated that.
We are so pleased that Ellen visited, fed, and entertained our miniature Dachshund in the middle of the afternoon when we had to be away. Hilda has a special diet that makes her eliminate more often than usual, so we dont leave her for long stretches of time. Ellen is dependable, trustworthy, caring, and professional. We loved it when she sent a selfie with Hilda reaching up to give her a kiss. She obviously has Hilda’s seal of approval. We already have booked Ellen for our big vacation in the fall. Doesn’t that say it all?
