Pet care experience
I have been an animal lover my whole life! After losing my first dog, I started dog sitting for some family friends. It really helped me fill the void after losing mine, and I love being able to help provide love and care for other animals! When I found Rover, I knew it was the perfect job for me! I do have my own pets, an orange cat and an Australian Shepherd dog, both who I love very much, but I always have more love to give! I know how important pets are to their owners and strive to provide the best care when their owners can’t be around. I have experience with providing oral medication to both cats and dogs, and I also have experience with senior pets. There’s nothing I love more than a good cuddle! As for your home, I will always respect your space and leave it looking the way you left it! I also have experience caring for many other types of small animals! So far through Rover, I have cared for hamsters, Guinea pigs, bunnies, hermit crabs, a bearded dragon and a macaw! Please feel free to reach out if you have other critters that require care and I would be happy to discuss with you! Please note there will be an additional charge for any extra care that is needed. If you are located out of the city, please note there will be an additional charge added on to compensate for the mileage and extra driving time. The amount of this fee will be determined based on where you are located and how many visits are required.

Ellen looked after my two cats while I was away for a night and everything went smoothly. She came over beforehand to meet the cats and pick up the house key which was very convenient. Ellen took lots of lovely photos, and even managed to get my shy cat out of hiding! The house looks spotless and the cats are happy. Would highly recommend Ellen's services!
Ellen is great with out pup she loves visits!
First time leaving our puppy at home with a sitter and we were beyond impressed. Ellen came over prior to the visit to arrange coming into the home and meet our little pup. The moment our puppy met her a with her calming presence, we just knew she would be the perfect fit. We will be using her much more in the future.

For house sitting bookings, please also advise how long your pet is able to be alone for so I can be sure my schedule can accommodate before booking with you!

I always make sure to give your pet as much love and attention as possible. Sticking to a schedule is important and I will try to follow your existing schedule as closely as I can. Of course, a good cuddle is my favourite way to bond with your pet! I would love to care for your animals and I look forward to hearing from you and making new furry friends!

Availability
Pet sitting has become my full time job over the last year! I tend to have some busy days throughout the week, but I am always willing to welcome new pets to my care! I would love to work out a schedule with you! If I am staying in your home during the week, I would request access to the internet as I also do other freelance work from my laptop during my spare time!
