Pet care experience
I have personally owned and cared for a variety of breeds and species. I worked the last 3.5 years at a local veterinary clinic and I am certified in animal CPR/first aid. I am also a certified cat trainer/behaviorist. I am confident and capable in administering medications to many types of pets. Your pet will always be treated like family while under my care. Currently I own two dogs, a Shikoku, and an Akita/German Shepherd mix, and 6 cats along with some farm animals. I am currently enrolled in a grooming program and hope to be able to provide grooming care to your pets in the future as well.

Ellen Malone has been the most amazing and loving dog sitter one could ever dream of having. Her love for animals goes above and beyond. Not only is she amazing with animals, her veterinary degree makes me always feel safe knowing she is with my dogs. I have 3 dogs, all of which are very touchy with other humans.....except her. My animals seem to know her compassion and feel her love every time she is with them. I would , without doubt, highly recommend having Ellen watch your pets. Your animals will love her and she will love them back! She is the one you want if you don't want to be concerned about your pets when you go away on vacation or your pets just need a daily pal for walks and such. She truly has a gift.
Ellen is an extremely caring animal lover. That alone would be a wonderful endorsement, but add to that she is also an certified animal behaviorist, veterinary assistant, and certified in first aid/cpr. Ellen also does some fostering for the charity I am on the board of. She is truly dedicated to making sure the pets around her live their best life. This care extends past those animals directly under her care and to those who she sees come through the veterinarian clinic she works for and the fosters from our charity I bring to the clinic. Anyone would be fortunate to have Ellen care for their fur babies while they are away. They can leave with peace of mind knowing that they will be safe, loved and well care for.

Care will be given in you and your pets home unless other arrangements have been made. Walks can be in your neighborhood or an agreed upon trail/wooded area your pet(s) and I may drive to. I have a spacious van and 2 harness seatbelts for the van as well. A crate can be provided by me for travel as well if your pet(s) are more comfortable riding crated. If your pet does spend time with me in my home, I have two dogs of my own, along with my own 6 cats. Both of my girls do well with other dogs, and any introductions would be in a controlled environment, at a slow and comfortable pace for everyone.

Vaccination history, proof of Rabies is highly appreciated. This can be a reminder print out from your vet, or the Rabies Certificate itself. Any pet to be cared for in my home, will be required to have full vaccinations. Rabies, Distemper combo-with Leptospirosis, and Bordetella (kennel cough),
A typical day
We can walk your neighborhood, and play in the yard, or go to one of the local dog parks. (Time for actual walk will not start until we arrive at our destination. A photo of arrival may be texted upon request as well!)
