Pet care experience
I have always had dogs in my life, from being a toddler up until getting my own labradoodle (Lucy!!) in 2015! I have experience with all shapes, sizes, and colors :). I believe any animal should be treated as family, because that is what they are to me. I will treat your dog as my own!

Ellen did a fantastic job petsitting my two standard poodles while I was away for a few days. She is very attentive, and both my pups fell in love with her. I felt peace of mind that she was taking care of everything while I was away. Highly recommend Ellen!
Ellen would be the BEST pet sitter you could find. She has been around dogs her whole life. She has also raised and trained one of the most lovable, smartest dogs I have ever met, a labradoodle named LUCY! Ellen would treat all dogs in her care as one of her own and is very trustworthy. She is very attentive to dogs needs at all times, and would truly enjoy meeting other dogs, and spending time with them along with her Lucy!

I do not provide care in my home, as my dog likes her own space and I would never risk any confrontation between her and another dog she hasn’t met coming into her home! I am more than happy to sit in other peoples homes and I think the best approach is getting as much info from their owners as possible and following their rules and guidelines regarding their pets and their routines/behaviors etc. I love my dog so very much and it would be very difficult for me to entrust her care to someone else, so I can relate with you on that- and will put myself in your shoes to care for your fur babies like I would want someone to care for my sweet girl!

Behaviors/ triggers, (things that could upset the dogs: Do they like to chase cars? Will they bolt when the front door is opened? Do they need to be alone while eating? Etc) illnesses, and allergies are VERY important!
A typical day
It depends on the dogs and their needs! If they love to play fetch, then we will play fetch! If walks are their thing, then walks it is! One thing I do not do is take dogs anywhere where there might be off-leash dogs (dog parks for example). There are too many unknowns with other dogs and I would never put your dog in a vulnerable situation!

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule (summer schedule is 12:30-3:30 in the DTC). Once my client is back in school, my work hours will be 4-6:30 in the DTC, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets in my downtime!
