Home full-time in a Rover house!
Pet care experience
I grew up with a golden retriever and 2 toy poodles so dogs have always been part of the family! Since moving to the city I’ve been dog-sitting for friends, sometimes for weeks at a time, so I have a lot of experience caring for pets who miss their owners and need some extra TLC. I work from home and make my own schedule so I can offer tons of attention and flexible availability. My roommate also works for Rover so our home is very dog friendly and we’re situated right beside a park which is great for walks. I have experience taking care of dogs with special needs so I can administer medication and cater to any special dietary requirements. Finally, I know how hard it is to leave a pet for any amount of time so I’ll always send pictures to let owners know that they’re dogs are happy!

Ellen has stayed over and watched my dog many times for me, including at the last minute in an emergency. She's awesome – friendly, dependable, and I know my dog loves her (and she doesn't like many people)!
Ellen has home sat our dog Gemma on many occasions sometimes for a week or more and always does an excellent job! Gemma really enjoys spending time with her and we know Ellen enjoys Gemma! We trust Ellen entirely and highly recommend her!

A typical day
There’s a park right beside my apartment which is great for walks, but I head to Prospect Park for more space when it’s nice out! During the summer (and with owners permission) we might also take a trip to the beach which is only 20 mins away.
