My family had a beagle from before I was born until I was about 11, then a few years later we adopted a beagle-greyhound mix named Juneau. I regularly feed and walk my dog, and I probably give her more attention than anyone else in my family. She is very energetic and high-maintenance but such a joy to have around. I have watched my neighbors' dogs in the past while they were on vacation, as well.
