Pet care experience
I dog sat instead of baby sat as a teenager and I am very patient and understanding of dogs with energetic personalities, calm demeanors, odd habits, and anxiety. I love being outside whether it be for playing or walking and I have a love for all types of animals. Growing up I was the house that had parakeets, rabbits, and cats, but never a dog, so that was why I cared for other people's canine companions. I have limited experience with obedience training, but I am always up for a challenge if it is desired. I am able to give medications if needed as well. I also currently have an amazing Jack-Russell rescue and a playful and fluffy grey Tabby in my life who both brighten up my day!

Ellen is very passionate about anything that she is interested in. She loves her dog that she adopted and has opened up her home to a cat that was loosing it's home. She has patiently given them both the time and love to get comfortable in their new surroundings and slowly introduced them to each other. She researched the ways to get pets to like each other and has succeeded. She loves the outdoors and would be a great walking companion for a dog. She is a very dedicated person with a love of nature and would be a valuable asset to your company.

Before sitting I would like to know any habits, dietary or medical needs, and what rules you'd like me and the animal to follow while you are not there. As long as your dog is willing to accept me watching him or her I do not have a breed preference!
A typical day
I am always up for a walk through the neighborhood or another favorite spot of the dog. Playing fetch or frisbee, using activity toys to spark some problem solving are definitely on the list also.
