We got my first dog, a bright eyed clever little spunky rescue, when I was in middle school. I helped train Maggie, walk her, cuddle her, and care for her through her life. She always had a spark of mischief in her eye. After Maggie, we got Duchess, who was as sweet as she was timid, even though she was a big Lab, and who loved nothing better than to put her head on your knee by the fireplace to nap. I helped teach her not to eat everything she found on the sidewalk and how to not lunge away in terror at the sight of another dog. I know how special your pet is to you because I know how special Maggie and Duchess were to me! Additionally, I have a five star rating as a Wag walker! I also am an experienced cat companion (would never be so arrogant as to say I owned my cat! Au contraire, he thinks he owns me). I have cared for cats as old as 20 and as young as kittens, when socialization by humans is all important to their future friendliness. I know how to show cats I’m open to being friends while letting them decide exactly how friendly they want to be, and I know how to be quiet and relaxed enough that they come to me. I just moved to LA after a long travel period working remotely. Met a lot of the best dogs and cats along the way - hope to meet yours!
