I come from a family of dog lovers! We have always had a house full of golden retrievers--our family would not be complete without Pepper and Hobbes. We also have a Jack Russell (Calvin) so I'm quite used to big dogs with lots of energy or big dogs in a little body! I love to play hard and snuggle hard at the end of the day. I work Monday-Friday but am available in the evenings and weekend for walking and hikes. If it is a multiple day booking I am available in the mornings to care for your family pup before I head out for the office and can pop in at lunch for a potty break and some playtime. I look forward to making lots of new furry friends!

Ellen is amazing. She has dogsit/housesit for us on several occassions. Maggie, our goldendoodle adores her and gets so excited when she shows up! This makes leaving our furry friend behind so much easier. She is also great about sending photos of Maggie and their adventures while we are out of town. Ellen is very responsible and respectful. She leaves our house cleaner than when we left and ensures that Maggie gets all the love and exercise she needs. I couldn’t ask for a better dogsitter experience.
I have known Ellen for many years now. However, I have yet to meet such a devoted dog-enthusiast as she. Ellen goes above and beyond when it comes to caring for these gentle floofs. Not only does she treat each dog as if it were her own fur baby, but she is also wonderful to the human parents of said fur babies. All in all, Ellen is wonderful. If I had to trust anyone with my fur baby, it would be Ellen (and I don't make that decision lightly).
Ellen is fabulous! Our little spaniel pup, Annie just loves her and we know she's in good hands when we leave her with Ellen. Ellen is very trustworthy and responsible and has watched Annie multiple times over the last 5 years. She totally understands when you leave a lot of directions (because you are an over-involved pet parent!) and is happy to check in with you via text or call while you are gone. She even took care of our bunny a few times and was very sweet to him. I highly recommend Ellen for any pet sitting needs.

I like to know which commands your pooch obeys as well as any special aches I should be aware of so I can accommodate the most comfortable walk type. I also like to know how well they behave on a leash as well as whether they like to make friends when we're out playing or if they would prefer for admirers to avoid petting them and admire from afar instead
A typical day
I love going on a run or playing fetch at the beach, capturing pictures of your pup on stunning hikes above the city of Santa Barbara and taking walks around my neighborhood (there is a park nearby) for the more mellow doggies out there.
