Pet care experience
During the pandemic I volunteered as a foster at multiple shelters and helped various dogs transition from the shelter into their forever home. My Rover Account has been active for 3 years and I have over a dozen repeat clients! I aim to create a pet-sitting experience that makes pets excited to see me rather than anxious/ sad that their owner is away.

This was my first time using Rover and I was a little hesitant with using someone random to house sit and watch my newly adopted Great Dane. However, after going through her numerous positive reviews, I felt that Elle would be well equipped to handle whatever situation arose. During our meet and greet she made me feel comfortable with her knowledge and experience, and had a grounding presence. My dog also liked her immediately… Elle sent frequent updates, was very responsive, and I could tell my baby and apartment was in great hands. I would use Elle’s services again! Thank you!

I would first ensure the pet feels comfortable around me. I have a futon specifically for pets so feel free to bring their favorite blanket. For house-sittings: let me know if you would like me to stay overnight but in a post-covid world I totally understand not wanting overnight services. I clean up regularly, bring my own meal-prep, and do not bring guests over.

Let me know how long your pup typically walks/ their energy level so I can plan appropriate activities. Also, please let me know if they are not potty trained or have a tendency to bark a lot since I live in an apartment complex.
A typical day
I love to stay active by going on hikes, swimming at the beach, or just reading at Griffith Park. I always enjoy taking high activity dogs with me during outdoor activities or just to run errands at pet-friendly shops in my neighborhood.

I try to build my schedule around my bookings and am pretty flexible. I would alert you if I need to leave for more than several hours at a time.
