Why You Should Choose Me Background —————— Professional: I have volunteered at my local shelter, worked at two dog boarding and daycare companies, walked and provide care for neighboring pets. I’m also a groomer and will provide free baths! Personal: I’ve been a dog mom for fifteen years. I grew up with dogs of all kinds and in various conditions. Currently, my family has two rescued dogs. Roxy (or Mom, as we call her) is our 13-year-old, one-eyed, blind, special needs Shih Tzu. We welcomed her into our family after she was discovered abandoned and malnourished one cold, October day. Randall is our lovable five-year-old Chocolate Labrador mix. My partner and I also foster dogs in need of a loving home. Availability —————— Weekdays: 8-7pm Weekends: 9-8:30pm I’m open to discussing more hours though.

I don’t have any breed preference. I’d just like to know if they have any conditions (i.e.blindness, diabetes, dementia, cancer) or fears (i.e. strangers, crossing the street, touching their head or ears) so I can provide them with a more comfortable and enjoyable experience. I’ve had or cared for dogs with all of these conditions and fears.
A typical day
Our home consists of a lovely one-acre, wooded yard for your dog to explore. We like to play frisbee and catch with Randall and let Roxy lay in the sun or explore at her own pace. We go for morning, afternoon, and evening walks. We take them to parks to socialize with other dogs, to our local fields to run, and on hikes to provide them with an opportunity for adventure and mental stimulation. My entire day is dedicated to making each moment of their lives wonderful and memorable. As noted before, I’m a groomer so I will provide free baths and brushings after every stay! We have five dog beds of all sizes for your dog to nap in. We also have warm clothing for those cold winter days!
