Pet care experience
Hello. My name is Ella and I have been privileged to grew up on a farm with my grandparents helping them to look after all sorts of animals (from livestock, through wildlife, to house pets). However, of all animals, dogs have been and always will be the closest to my heart. I would be honoured to take care of your beloved dog and can promise upmost care and dedication. As a person who grew up with three German Shepards, a Border Collie and a number of cross breed dogs, and an owner of a Labrador, I can say I am experienced in looking after medium and large dogs as well as dogs of high energy levels and high intelligence. Furthermore, I successfully looked after Cocker Spaniels, Jack Russells, Irish Terriers, Dachshunds, Short Haired German Pointers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Huskies, Maltese’s, among other dogs. As an owner of a dog with a severe osteoarthritis and elbow dysplasia who underwent two serious surgeries, I am more than experienced in looking after dogs with orthopaedic problems.

I cannot recommend Ella enough - she is brilliant. Ella is so kind and knowledgable. She always takes such good care of my dogs, sending photos and videos regularly during their stay. Ella is wholly trustworthy and reliable, and my dogs love their stays with Ella and Winston!

Ella was great, she was knowledgeable and took lots of pictures and videos of Ripley while she was looking after her. Ripley seemed to have a great time and loved playing with Ella's dog Winston. I will definitely check Ella's availability whenever I need dog care again
I would highly recommend Ella and would not hesitate to ask her to look after my dog again. At short notice, we did a meet and greet to make sure my boxer and Ella's lab Winston got along okay which they did brilliantly. Ella made my boxer feel settled straight away in her home and treated him no different to Winston. Winston welcomed him into his home with no hesitation as well. Ella sent loads of photos and videos showing how settled and comfortable my dog was throughout the stay. I'm so pleased I found Ella on Rover. What's a lovely lady and dog! I really look forward to booking in with Ella again :)

I have a car fully insured for pet transport and equipped with a Barjo boot guard and pet seat belts. I can also crate your dog for car journeys, should you prefer. However, due to the size of the boot, the largest crate I can have is 36’’. To make sure your dog is safe during the walks, I only walk them on a long line, unless you clearly specify and put it in writing that you want your dog to be walked off lead. I will only board one dog at a time and make sure I had a meet and greet prior to that in order to ensure your dog gets along well with my dog.

Please inform me of any medical issues and any likes and dislikes of your dog so I can make sure their needs are properly taken care of. It is also important if you tell me about your dog’s dietary requirements and if you want me to provide food for your dog as the price of boarding does NOT include food bill. If you need me to buy any food for your dog, I will need to charge you more for the stay.
A typical day
When under my care, your dog will be treated as my own, having full access to my house. He/ she will spend their time playing mentally stimulating games, exploring local woods and walking down the river and ponds I am lucky to have within a stone throw.

I work full time as a teacher so am only available for pet services during weekends and school holidays. I may be available for dog walking after 15:30.
