I have been dogsitting for 2 years, and previously, I had experience working at Battersea Dogs and Cats home. Getting nervous pups and kittens used to people, play and rest before going to forever homes. I work from home most days, my hours are flexible and I can go for walks whenever necessary (meeting dependant sometimes). We (my female flatmate and I) do have friends over occasionally but this would depend on the animal’s nature. I would keep their routine from home, give them plenty of love, follow instruction and enjoy having some company during the working days. It is important, having been a pet owner myself, that the pet gets an experience as close to home as possible.
