Pet care experience
I've been around dogs my whole life; since my grandfather was a police officer training working dogs, I would accompany him whenever I had time. I had the opportunity to walk my neighbours dogs and I'm a proud owner of a German Sheperd who, unfortunately, could't accompany me to Norway and stayed with the rest of the family, so I'm looking to work with dogs because I miss walking him everyday.

Our Alaskan malamute loves going for walks and playing catch with Ella. She is creative when it comes to playing with him and also takes time cuddles and resting when needed. Although Odin knows commands mostly in Norwegian, he has no problem following Ella's instructions and intentions. We highly recommend Ella to take care of your dog as she is very loving, kind and considerate and enjoys telling us about their time together and even takes photos.
Ella is convincingly the most animal loving and caring person I know. We walked her and my dog together many times and it was always a very enjoyable experience for us and for the dogs. She also takes excellent care of her many plants and once took care of a wounded crow before taking her to an animal rescue. From my knowledge, all dogs and cats respond well to her. Importantly, she knows how to set boundaries of acceptable behaviour, resulting in great relationships with the animals. I sincerely believe she is the best suited person for pet caregiving out of all the people I've ever met and I can't recommend her enough. Marko
I've known Ella for seven years and the very first thing that comes to mind when I think of her is how much she adores animals. I've spent a lot of time with her and her wonderful German shepherd and have seen first hand how well she handles him. She has also always been there to help me with my dog, whenever I needed someone to watch or walk him. Even though he's a really hardheaded Cocker spaniel and doesn't like most strangers or listen to anyone aside from me, he loved her from the start. She manages to walk both of our dogs at the same time, which I never would have thought possible since mine is usually terrible with other dogs. She's always had a special interest in veterinary medicine and I always call her for her opinions on anything regarding the health of my pets.
I know Ella since we were kids and all I can say is that she is the most reliable friend I have. No matter how many obligations she has, she always finds time for her German Shepherd, Kan. Ella enjoys spending time with him and she even socialised him all by herself! Now, since Kan grew up, they often go hiking (in the forrest or on a seaside) seeking for new adventures. Not only that she loves her dog, but she is motivated to look after others' pets! She even look after my dog (German Boxer) from time to time and when he is with her, I know I can rest easily knowing that he is in good hands. Just one small disclaimer: when you leave your pet with her, I assure you that your pet won't want to come back to you because with Ella, it will have the love and care like with no other dogsitter. :)

I believe a good relationship between dogs and people lies in communication; therefore I always check on my dogs body language, avoid stressfull situations and praise good behaviour! I believe in positive reinforcement, which includes a cheerful attitude, treats and as much playtime as possible.
Information Ella Đ. would like to know about your pet
For me, the most important thing to know in advance is specific triggers for a dog. Maybe your dog doesn't like it when strangers approach, or doesn't like kids or other dogs, or to be petted on specific body part. Anything that is upsetting to your dog is an information I need to know in advance to make a safe and comfortable environment for both the dog, me and anyone around us. Other than that, I'll ask about your dog's medical and physical condition, their routines, level of training and how social they are. I will also ask you to describe how you usually spend time with your dog and if there is anything specific you think is important to point out. I'm also a very communicative, chatty type of person so I'll probably ask a bunch of additional questions when we meet!
A typical day
There is no such thing as typical day for dogwalking. Some dogs love rain and snow, some love the sun, so I always consider weather and adjust my plans accordingly. Some dogs enjoy company, busy places and playing with other dogs, while some enjoy their peaceful time alone. There are dogs who are very active and love jumping, hiking and running, while some love short walks and maybe a visit to the park, there are dogs with routine and the ones who love to explore- whatever it is, dogs preferences come first and I plan our walk with their needs in mind. So, typically, we might go to the park, or woods, or walk around neighbourhood. Or go hiking. Or playing in the snow. Or to the beach. Or jumping in rain puddles. Or just enjoy cuddles. (:
