Pet care experience
I've been caring for animals as long as I can remember. I have had many different pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits, and geckos. I have years of experience with animals of all different age ranges from puppies and kittens to seniors. I have been caring for my family and friend's furry (and scaly) friends. I have also cared for animals with different temperaments such as food aggressive dogs or pets who are very shy. I don't think there is any animal that I am not comfortable being around. I have experience working at a boarding and doggie daycare facility as well. While working at a boarding facility I learned a lot about basic first aid, working with senior pets, and working with special needs pets. I have a lot of experience with deaf and blind pets from work while I also have a deaf cat. I am comfortable with pets needing medication as well as pets who need more hands on attention. I am also comfortable with animals that may be uncomfortable or weary of strangers.

I will not be able to care for other's pets in my home due to my cat but I am very comfortable with caring for pets in the owner's home. It's very important to me to understand how the owner's routine with their pet looks like and also to understand the owner's boundaries. I have been taking care of pets in the owner's home for years now and I feel very comfortable with doing it. I also feel that it is less stressful for the pet to be in their normal environment while their owner is away.

Its important to me to know if my clients pet has any sort of condition or medications they need to take. I would also like to know if a dog pulls on the leash or if they are aggressive on a leash because I would love to take my clients dog on a walk or hike. It's also good to know my clients routine with their pet, that way I can make the pet more comfortable while I am with them.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on hiking trails or to fenced parks where they can play with their favorite ball or toy. I also enjoy taking dogs on car rides, as long as the dog does not have a history of getting car sick.

I am currently available anytime of day. Since I have my own pets, my early morning and late evenings can involve me needing to feed my own pets. I am very flexible with my schedule. Im open to staying overnight but I may not be able to stay every night since I have my own pets.
