Pet care experience
I have worked as a Registered Veterinary Nurse for 10 years. I have also worked in an animal shelter where I worked with all kinds of animals. I had a dog for 10 years myself, and several cats. Also small animals like Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Rats, Hamsters, I have owned personally and have professional experience with as well. I work as a vet nurse but I do exclusively night shifts for 7 days in a row, after which I get 14 nights off so plenty of time to look after your pets. I don't have a lot of space so I can't have many animals at once but that means that they will be in my presence at all times and I will be able to give them plenty of attention. I like to go on long walks together as it will also be good for me to get out of the house.

Would thoroughly recommend Elke! Our little old man Buddy settled in quickly and made himself right at home. He was relaxed on collection and seemed very happy ? Our third time leaving Our 2 wee dogs for a week with Elkie Our youngest Buster is very difficult and requires a lot of patience and hard work As usual Elkie did a truely wonderful job and I couldn't recommend her highly enough x
Our cockapoo Leo spent 5 nights with Elke when we went on holiday. From the moment we met her when we dropped him off ,Elke was welcoming and friendly and Leo took to her right away . I was happy to leave him in her capable hands . Whilst on holiday we received messages from Elke about how Leo was , and also a video of him playing on his walk in the park . It was great to know that he was happy and see the video ! I wouldn’t hesitate to choose Elke again ( if she would have him !!) We we’re very pleased with his stay .
Elke was great with our old diabetic boy. She followed his routine perfectly and he seemed to be relaxed and very comfortable with her

I like to know about any special needs. This include behavioural needs but also medical needs. I'm a senior Veterinary nurse so nothing will scare me away. I need to know if the dog is okay with other dogs. Is he/she noisy as I do live in a flat and I teach online classes.
A typical day
There is a nice big park near my house that will provide some nice long walks, also a nice walk to get their to give your dogs a nice mental stimulus with all kinds of new smells! We can play at the park with toys as well if your dog likes that.

I have 14 days off every 7 days so I have a lot of time available to look after your pets. I only take pets in my weeks off.
