Pet care experience
I have had (and loved dogs) my entire life, so becoming a dog sitter is a dream come true! I have trained dogs since I was 16 years old and have been dog sitting and walking locally for over a decade. I’m trained in animal first aid and have acted as a foster parent to rescue dogs in the past, so I’m familiar with providing love and care to pups in need. I currently have two rescue dogs of my own as well. There just simply isn’t anything better than watching a pup thrive! I always prefer to have a meet-and-greet when taking on a new client, as it gives us the opportunity to get to know each other before a stay and make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another. Additionally, it gives me the chance to ask plenty of questions about your pup and your expectations for the upcoming stay. I love to get as much information as possible, so a meet is a great opportunity to do so. During a stay, I firmly believe in keeping the dogs schedule as close to what it is when the owners are home. I know most pups thrive on consistency, so I’ll strive to make sure that their time with me is as close to what they’re used to at home. I’ll also treat the owner’s home, dog (and other animals) as if they were my own and with the utmost care. I’m also happy to make sure that owners are kept up to date daily via texts, pictures, and videos, so you can know just how your pup is doing and what we’ve done for the day. In my free time I like to hang out with my dogs. We love to go for drives, and just hang out together! I also enjoy finding new dog-friendly cafes and restaurants in the area to bring pups too. When I’m at home, I love to play fetch, and run, and close out the day with tons of snuggles and cuddles.
Reviews
We adore Elizabeth! Dogs are happy and fed, played with, home is clean when we get back. Couldn’t ask for more! Already booked her for our next vacation later this summer! Highly recommend.
Elizabeth was prompt and communicative while we were out. Our pup felt very comfortable with her and even went to bed, so that helped me relax knowing she wasn’t anxious or distraught. Our cats didn’t really interact, but it was nice having someone in the home while we were away.
Elizabeth was great. She house date for NYE with my two dogs. Would have her again :)
Thank you Elizbeth! Chipper and I appreciate your visits.

Information Elizabeth W. would like to know about your pet
Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
During a typical day, we’ll make sure to get plenty of walks and potty breaks in, with much longer walks scattered throughout to stay happy and healthy. I love discovering new areas, so we’ll make sure to visit any parks nearby and go for long walks to discover the new sights and smells. It’s always important for me to know where the local dog parks are because I love watching pups meet new furry friends! No matter what, we’ll make sure to have a blast together.
