Elizabeth treats new dogs with the same amount of love and affection as she does her own dog -- which is remarkable, given how much she dotes over her beloved Maizie! She's happy to match pace with dogs of all different energy levels, and to make sure they are comfortable, engaged, and cared for the entire time she is with them. My dog was getting old and very sick when Elizabeth met her, but Elizabeth was so gentle with her that I could tell my dog was comforted just by being around her.
