Pet care experience
Looking for a pet sitter? I would love the joy and privilege of watching, nurturing and taking care of your furry loved one. I've grown up with all types of dogs during my life. I've taken care of Golden Retrievers, Boxers, Lhasa Apsos, miniature Australian Shepherds, Dachshunds and Maltese just to name a few. It is my joy to take care of dogs, and moving to a new city (while working as a nurse and supporting my family), I am looking for some income on the side, as well as getting to take care of some of these sweet creatures! Your dogs will be loved and well taken care of! I will care for them in the same way I would care for my furry ones! Lastly, being a nurse, even though they are different than humans, I am still able to apply my assessment, therapeutic, critical thinking, planning and implementing skills in order to give your dog the best care he/she deserves.

Elizabeth LOVES dogs and has always had so much patience with ours. She spent extra attention with our old special needs dog Scout, needing medication and assistance with stairs and is equally wonderful with our two young and rambunctious dogs, needing exercise and playtime. We love the pictures and updates she frequently sends and love how happy and eager our dogs are to see her every time she comes back. We also love that she is a nurse and feel she would recognize any medical emergency. She is completely reliable and trustworthy. We will use her again and again.

Elizabeth is the most loving and compassionate person I know. She has had pets all of her life and takes absolute great care of them. She doesn't just care for the pets she watches, she loves them too! I trust my pets with her in a heart beat!

Before sitting a dog, I would like to know if the dog enjoys being around other animals or if they are more timid around other animals and even humans. Having a black lab who is more timid of people, I am more aware of her needs and can better meet those. I also would like to know if there are any specific things that trigger anxieties in your dogs, such as thunderstorms, TVs, etc. I, of course, would like to know their likes and dislikes. I would like to know of any allergies the dog might have. I would also like to know of any specific routines they dog has (going to the dog park at 10 AM or having their favorite pillow in their crate to sleep at night) in order to better meet their needs.
A typical day
I will take them on a walk (or run) around the neighborhood or go to a dog park or local park area to walk them! I would love to play with them and throw their favorite toy for them to fetch!
