Pet care experience
Doug and Elizabeth Vance, Dania Beach residents, dog lovers. Doug and Elizabeth are retired. We've enjoyed the loving company of a black Lab and a Beagle mix, but are currently without a dog of our own. We have a small single level home, extra large screen room with dog-door access to our fenced back yard. Our friends and their pets love getting together here for our house parties. Visiting canines that are good on a leash will get morning and evening walks in our quiet neighborhood. During the day they are welcome to hang out with Elizabeth in her shed/office, or with Doug in the house. Elizabeth is out for about an hour each morning at the gym. Doug occasionally runs errands. And occasionally both are out together on errands for an hour or two a day. If your dog has a bed, you are welcome to bring it, otherwise we find that our overnight pets choose to curl up on a rug at the side of the bed, or in the living room.

Like to see a completed dog profile and have a meet & greet before accepting a new dog guest for a stay. Prefer neutered dogs, any breed, any size. Prefer one dog at a time, but do accept multiple dogs from the same family. Occasionally we will accept more that 1 dog if all parties are amenable.
A typical day
If guests dogs are good on a leash, and not bothered by other dogs, we have a nice neighborhood for walks. There is also ample outdoor time in our backyard, always supervised.
