Pet care experience
I have always lived in a home surrounded by animals. From an early age I was taught the importance of caring for them and the patience it takes training them. I have built upon this experience with several months of volunteering at the Atlanta Humane Society as well as caring for the pets of family and friends. My time volunteering and pet sitting have helped improved my ability to diffuse situations before they become an issue. I have experience administering medication to both cats and dogs (weighing from 15lbs to upwards of 120lbs). Originally from NC I became a Florida resident in the fall of 2019. I am a surviving spouse, and have moved around quite a bit. I have volunteered my services as a dog sitter for many friends during my late husband’s time in service, and have in turn had the opportunity to work with dogs of many different breeds and sizes. Some weighing in at over 120+ lbs, and not even a year old. I understand the patience it takes working with animals. Being able to pick up on their body language and signals they may present is key to making them feel comfortable and at peace. Your pets well being and happiness is of the utmost importance and making sure they are well taken care of and adored is the least I can do during their stay.
Reviews
Elizabeth was such a sweet person and caretaker! She introduced me to the space my puppy would be staying in and assured me she would be perfectly fine. I received photos and updates throughout my Remy’s stay which made me feel so secure and happy. 10/10 would recommend:) Elizabeth really is a great dog sitter and person!

I have a single family home with lots of space for your pup to romp around. The house is spacious with multiple areas for napping and playing. The yard is large and mostly shaded so on warm days it stays relatively cool. I use non-toxic cleaning products throughout the majority of my home to ensure no animals react poorly to harsh cleaning chemicals. I’m located close to Rowlett park where my dog and I frequent. We have dog friendly flooring and furniture (tile floors and leather seating). We welcome all dogs even the oversized lap dogs to make themselves at home.
Information Elizabeth T. would like to know about your pet
I have no preference when it comes to breeds or age. Prior to sitting I would like to know of any and all preferences your animal may have concerning food, socialization, and their general habits. Are they comfortable riding? I have a large 4 door Jeep so accommodating larger dogs is no issue. Does your dog have specific daily routines or medications? Are they aggressive towards or uncomfortable around other animals or people? How long do you feel comfortable with them being left alone?
A typical day
Walks, car rides, dog park (if given approval), adventures to dog friendly park trails and hikes. Quality bonding time, lots of cuddling and snuggles (if they prefer) and if requested designated training times to work on simple commands (sit, stay, lay down, heal).
