Long Time Animal Lover and Walker!

Pet care experience

*Please check out my photos for pictures of previous/current clients!* Hello! My name is Liz and I am an avid dog and all around animal lover. I have had dogs and cats in my family since I was a baby so I know how much of a loved family member your pet is! I myself currently own a very sweet toy Aussie, and three lovely and social cats. My experience ranges with small to large dogs of varying breeds and temperaments as well as many different types of cats. I also have many years of experience with rodents! (Including but not limited to rats, hamsters, mice, chinchillas, ferrets, and guinea pigs). Professionally I have volunteered at the Humane Society in San Diego, the Orange County Animal Care Shelter with dogs and cats of all sizes and now at the Humane Society at Portland. I have been certified in animal CPR and resuscitation. I understand that like humans, every dog and cat is different and requires individualized care. I'm very excited to be given the opportunity to walk and/or care for your furry four legged family member! Thank you!

Liz did check-ins on our cats while we were traveling for the second time, and everything went great! She sent us photos and updates, and the cats were well taken care of, including oral meds.

Information Liz T. would like to know about your pet

Please provide me any triggers that I should know about your dog (what upsets them, behavioral issues, etc). This way I can make sure I am sensitive to the dogs needs and provide them the best care possible. Currently I do not have any breed preferences. I am comfortable with all breeds provided they are not aggressive or not human friendly.

A typical day

I love exploring so on our walks, that is exactly what we will do! Finding large expanses of grass or parks to play in is key. I tailor my walks to your dogs needs. Some dogs can walk very far and some need a short distance and a nice play to enjoy themselves. It all depends on the doggy! If I am sitting your dog, rest assured they'll get in lots of love and play time. I have plenty of toys and activities.
