Pet care experience
I've had dogs in my household from the day I was born! My family has always had a minimum of one dog, and now when we're together for the holidays, there are eight dogs in total. Every dog has a unique personality, and I love the characters they all are. :) I have experience with both young and old dogs, and their specific needs. I currently have an 13 year old Australian Shepherd who is the most lovable and kind dog I've ever had. He’s incredibly friendly and loves other dogs. He does not come with me for any bookings, unless another friend would help your pup feel more comfortable and a prior meet and greet is arranged. Very good communication and great with dogs! She has a flexible schedule and definitely accommodated to my needs. Would recommend again.
Elizabeth is wonderful! She was very accommodating and took wonderful care of our dog and cat. Her dog Rowdy was a great companion for our dog and really helped with our dog’s separation anxiety. She went above and beyond, and did little things without being asked, like getting the mail and tidying up. Highly recommend her and Rowdy!
Elizabeth was great! We were going out of town for the weekend, and every time we have boarded our two dogs lately one of them has come home sick (kennel cough/bronchitis) so we wanted to avoid that if at all possible. Elizabeth came out with her Aussie Rowdy to meet our two. We took them all for a walk to get them acquainted before bringing everyone inside the house to see how the dogs interacted (one of ours has personal space issues). All the dogs did great and we had peace of mind knowing that they were going to be well cared for and if any problems arose that Elizabeth would reach out to us if necessary. She did two overnights for us, and the house was a clean as we left it, highly recommend if you are looking for someone to look after your furbaby!

I know the concern that comes with having a stranger watch your beloved animals, so I prefer to always have a meet and greet with clients before the stay. This allows me to meet each client and pet to determine if we are the best fit for each other. Additionally, I typically try to spend as much time at the house with the pet(s) to limit their time alone, as my schedule allows.

A typical day
I can provide daily exercise through walks and playtime. If your dog enjoys specific parks nearby, I am also happy to take them, with prior approval.

Availability
I am currently in school full time for a masters degree in counseling, so my schedule is somewhat variable. There are some days I am not available for midday check-ins, but most days I am able to!
