Vet student looking for puppy love!
Pet care experience
After completing my first year of veterinary school at PennVet, I look forward to spending summer vacation caring for animals! As a vet student, I have experience handling and caring for all types of animals & have dedicated my life to their health & well-being. In addition to my veterinary background, I have previously worked at Philly Dog School, the dog daycare center, and as a private dog walker. Whether in the comfort of your home or out at the Schuykill River dog park, I will care for your furry loved ones as if they were my own! I am available full-time until the end of August. I plan to spend any additional free time this summer volunteering at local animal shelters/hospitals, spending time with family, gardening and oil painting.

Lizzy was very kind to our puppy, and we could tell she cared for him. He was always excited to see her in the morning. Lizzy was very accommodating and flexible with scheduling and even allowed us to leave a few things at her house to make our lives easier. She is very responsive and communicative. Our puppy loved spending time with her. She will make an amazing veterinarian one day, and we would not hesitate to ask Lizzy to look after our puppy if/when we are looking for pet sitting services in the future.
Lizzy (Elizabeth) far exceeded our expectations. We initially hired Lizzy to watch our two dogs while we were out of town for a wedding. I was hesitant to have someone we didn’t know care for our dogs and this was our first experience in having someone we didn’t know care for them for several days (we previously hired dog walkers but never a sitter). One of our dogs has multiple medical issues and requires oral medication 3x a day, injections 2x a day, and eye drops 2x a day. He also requires/demands a lot of attention. Since our long weekend away we call Lizzy to walk both dogs 2x a week. Lizzy removed the stress of finding a sitter and the worrying about the dogs when we are away because we know they are being cared for and loved.
