Animals add so much to my life.

Pet care experience

Attended an Equine Science, Animal Science, and an Honor’s Veterinary Science class at the Dover Career Technical Center. I studied to be a Veterinarians' Assistant while being a dog handler at a doggy daycare. I helped operate their dog grooming business where I learned first-level dog grooming and customer skills. Throughout my studies, I utilized classroom pets and the onsite barn animals for animal handling, restraint, feeding and helped maintain their optimum health. I observed small animal veterinarians conduct medical procedures on a variety of bunnies, reptiles, and birds. I learned about animal anatomy, reproduction, vaccinations, how to administer them, and veterinary terminology. I went to school at The Animal Behavior College where I completed multiple internships and obtained my certificate to become a Veterinarian's Assistant. I've had a variety of animals throughout my life from hamsters, bunnies, cats, and dogs. I just moved here from Maine, to continue my college education. I miss my dogs deeply and I would love the opportunity to care for other animals the same way I would look after my own.

Elizabeth was so wonderful with our animals for our long weekend away. She sent so many pics and videos to keep us updated and was so attentive and playful with them. I could tell they loved her already! Will definitely be using Elizabeth in the future. Would recommend her to anyone and everyone! She made our first rover experience a breeze. :)

I live in a family-style and pet-friendly community and on a lake, there is a trail that wraps around the entire property about 2 miles long for dog walks. They also provide 2 fenced-in dog parks for socializing and to help release some energy. I have a crate if you require your furry friend to be crated or crate trained. I live on my own without any pets so I would be able to give your fur baby all of my attention!

A typical day

I would love to bring your dogs for walks around my community as there is a 2 mile trail along a big sparkling lake in my neighborhood. There’s also multiple dog parks near by that I would to pay a visit to especially to help get out some of the dogs energy and help with socialization. I also have tons of new dog toys I would love for them to explore and get a chance to play with.

I'm currently going to school part-time so I'll have ample time to play with puppies, dogs, kittens, cats, bunnies, reptiles, you name it! Other than class, I am completely available for dog walks, boarding, check-ins, or anything else that will help! I am comfortable with administering medications or specific foods for the pets individuals need at specific times. I also don't mind bringing dogs out for poddy breaks once every hour even throughout the night if needed.
