When I was a child, my mother nicknamed me “Dr. Doolittle” for my special touch with animals. There has never been a time in my life where I haven’t had at least one cat (usually more than one)! Because of this, I have seen how each cat has their own personality and I am sensitive towards the complex household dynamics that can frequently result. In high school, I worked as a kennel assistant at a veterinary practice which provided me with further experience with both sick and healthy animals. I also previously shadowed multiple veterinarians during their appointments and surgeries. I come from a family that would go to the ends of the Earth to help animals, which is something that was taught to me, as well. I truly believe that cats are members of the family and I understand the concern that people feel when leaving them for any reason. I consistently strive to provide gentle, loving, and knowledgeable care, just as I do with my own cats, and to keep family members updated.
