I grew up in a small town in North Idaho with many pets. We always had cats and horses. When I was older we got a dog. In College, my husband and I kept gerbils in our apartments. Finally, 3 years ago we were able to move in to a place that allowed dogs. We had both grown up with dogs and knew we wanted one. We adopted Kaylie. Since her adoption, we've built on Kaylie's training and she has passed exams to be certified as a registered therapy animal. I'm a teacher and Kaylie has attended school and spent countless hours in this classroom. I have provided medical care to animals. I'm successful at getting dogs to take pills. I was taught and have administered shots.
