Hello friends! My name is Liz. I’m so excited to be offering walking/sitting services through Rover and look forward to meeting you and your furbabies :) My experience with animals dates back to the late 90’s. One of my first “chores” as a young lady was to take care of our family dog (make sure she was walked, had food and water, et cetera). My very first job was to care for and walk some of the dogs in the neighborhood everyday when I got off the school bus. Between my childhood and adulthood I’ve owned dogs, cats, snakes, spider, birds, Guinea pigs, a rabbit …. *I think I’m running out of room to keep listing them* 😆 I currently have a senior miniature dachshund, Ginger. And two cockatiels, Pepper and ReRun. For several years I worked at an emergency veterinary clinic where I learned valuable skills like CPR (on cats and dogs), warning signs of illness, first aid, how to administer medications, and much more! I had the opportunity to foster 2 special needs cats and a special needs dog.
