I have been a registered nurse for 25 years have raised a wonderful daughter who is leaving for college in January and our miniature pincher of 17 years passed away at home this summer. She was such a significant part of my life and I really miss her. I cannot commit to another 17 years and want the flexibility to leave and see my daughter at school and sometimes have to work out of town. But when I'm home and make the commitment I can be a great home for your loved one when your away. I have a fenced in back yard and work from home but do sometime have to attend meeting outside of the house during a regular week. I have hosted my friends dogs and cared for an incredible dog for the last 17 years so helping to provide a safe and caring environment for you dog will be second nature. Obviously if your dog takes medication or has any medical issues / while I'm not a vet I have training that will be an added benefit. I love dogs basically but it's not yet time to make another full time commitment so this is a win win opportunity.
