Pet care experience
I've taken care of pets for as long as I can remember. My neighbors and friends have loved how I care for their pets, and I have a natural way with animals. I helped my friends mom feed and let dogs out when they owned a boarding kennel at age 5. I have volunteered at the shelter since 2018, but have been active in their volunteer program since 2014. I can give medications, help groom, and train leash walking manners in puppies and older dogs. I enjoy working with cats as well. They have a special place in my heart, especially the more shy or skittish ones. I am CPCR certified through Animal Behavior College. I just graduated, and I’m now a certified dog trainer! I am very good with following a consistent schedule for training, walking, and feeding. I always get to know a pet before I do anything with them, and I learn their behaviors over time.
Reviews
Absolutely amazing with jewels special needs!
Elizabeth is reliable, professional, and so sweet. She stayed at our house overnight to keep our extremely needy/anxious cat company. We are so glad we found her!
Elizabeth was fantastic! Mature, courteous, caring and best of all she figured out how to get my depressed dog to eat again! She helped me out at the last minute and I am totally grateful, highly recommend!
Elizabeth took great care of our dog. I recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. Thank you!

Safety, trust & environment
Depending on the pet, I follow specific care instructions if left with them by the owner. It could be a specific feeding time, a specific way of handling, any medical needs I have to be careful of; I handle all of them as if it’s all life or death.
Information Elizabeth M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if they have any behavioral concerns I should be mindful of, if you need help teaching them something, and what behaviors you’re working on, if any. Every pet is different, and everyone has their idea of what is good and bad behavior.
A typical day
I love watching animals learn new things. If they’re receptive to it, I like doing puzzles, snuffle mats, playing games, and practicing obedience. Anything to get a dog’s mind working full time so you can come back to a happy, tired, and mentally fulfilled pup. Cats get plenty of affection, play time, and mental enrichment as well as one on one time if they accept it.

I’m currently looking for more stable work outside of Rover. I just graduated from Animal Behavior College as a dog trainer, so I’m much more flexible than I was previously. I update my calendar obsessively. If there are any changes, they’ll be reflected!
