Pet care experience
Hi! I’m Libby, and I have tons of dog experience! I grew up with big dogs and little dogs— my parents currently have 2 yellow labs, and I grew up with a golden retriever. My siblings all have dogs that I have watched after, and all such different sizes— an American Eskimo, 3 Dachshunds, an English Bulldog, and a Finnish Laphund. For 2 years I had my own dog walking service, and for 3 years I volunteered at an animal shelter. Currently, I’m a second grade teacher, so I’m full of energy and would love to play and run around with your pets :) I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love, or a dog who didn’t love me. I love animals so much, and would love to care for your fur babies!

I am a stickler for rules— if you say to harness, I’ll harness! If your pet can’t be on the furniture, you won’t need to worry about a thing. Never worry about coming home to unhappy or unsafe conditions— I always make sure pets are safe, happy, and pooped from playing! I make sure to properly dispose of garbage, clean up any and all messes from your pets, and keep constant, vigilant watch on pets when we are outside.

I always make sure to ask about house rules, including furniture, sleeping arrangements, and how/when to take walks. I always ask about medication and how to give it, so that I am fully prepared to administer. Making sure I know how to keep your pets safe is my top priority!
A typical day
I love taking brisk morning walks, and dogs make that all the more fun! Then a cuddle session is perfect afterwards. My #1 priority is making sure your pets feel at home, and like nothing in their routine has changed. A calm and safe pet is a happy pet.

Availability
I’m a teacher, so my hours are between 8-4. I’m an early riser, and have no problem fully caring for your pets before my work hours, then spending the afternoons and evenings running around with them. This also means my weekends are fully free!
