I have a high cemented medium sized patio with turf. Access to the patio will only be available if patio door is locked and dogs are in site at all times. Chester loves to go into the patio to sunbathe or do his business in the turf or play fetch. Potty pads can be provided if needed. I never will leave the dogs alone at any point in time and can provide video access/pictures for peace of mind at any point in time. I am very watchful during walks and during dog park visits as well. Home does have stairs, but it can be blocked off so the dogs will only have access to the downstairs area. Dogs are allowed on the couch as well- we have a couch protector and blanket!!!
