I love dogs and dogs love me

Pet care experience

Right from the start, I was drawn to dogs. Every dog I see in public, even now, I ask to pet. I am a very energetic person so playing with dogs is one of my favorite pass times, and by the time I am done playing with them, they are completely wiped out and ready for a nap. In my neighborhood, I am always the first person my neighbors ask to watch their dogs when they're going out of town, and my own boss asks me to house sit her two dogs for her every time she goes on vacation. No dog is too big for me, my sister literally has two mastiffs (one of them are in my profile pictures), I am not afraid of any type of dog. I was a foster for a 4 paws for ability dog in training for the past 1.5 years, which, was a blessing in its own. It taught me a lot about how to handle and respond to different animal behavior. Unfortunately I had to bring him back to the facility for further training and to be placed with a person in need. If you chose me to take care of your animals, I will take care of them the way I would want somebody taking care of mine.

Elizabeth was great! She took such good care of Maisey and sent us plenty of great photos that showed us how much fun they were having together. We will definitely book with her again!

Elizabeth has been around dogs since the day she was born. She grew up loving them, taking care of them, and learning responsiblity from a young age. As part of daily chores, she would make sure they had water when she got home from school, and would help her older sister feed them. She would also take them on walks with her mom and dad. She has visited her older sister on multiple occasions, and would volunteer to take her sister's dogs on walks, feed them, and just play around with them. Elizabeth has a huge heart for animals, and takes very good care of them. You would be extremely lucky to have her as your dog sitter.

Elizabeth would be a wonderful pet sitter/dog caregiver. She does a wonderful dog with our two dogs and they love her dearly. I would highly recommend her to take care of your furry family members.

Information Elizabeth K. would like to know about your pet

For starters, I like to know if your dog has any trouble with other dogs. For instance, my first dog Abby hated other female dogs, so if your dog doesn't like other dogs and or animals for that matter that would be nice to know. If your dog has any medical problems, like being blind, deaf, has seizures, etc. Let me know ahead of time along with special routines you might have for administering medication to them. Lastly, if your dog has a fear of anything please inform me so I can take precautions. I house sat for a family friend who had just rescued a dog from an animal shelter once and the poor thing was terrified of people with hats on and men with long pony-tails, she whimpered and almost bit my hand off when I was wearing a hat once and I had no idea why. I also have no breed preference, any type of dog is fine!

A typical day

Usually, when I first meet a dog and start walking them I take them on a walk around the neighborhood, just to see how good of walkers they are. After that, with the owner's permission, I would find a park or trail near the house and take the dog to the park/trail and walk them on the paths. If it is a nice day, and again if I have the owners permission, I would even take the dog to a doggy park and play catch with it and let it socialize with other dogs.
