Your fur baby’s happiness IMPORTANT
Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of mine and other’s fur babies for 30 years. Over 10 years ago I started rescuing, fostering, helping with rehab, and helping find new forever homes for them through the APA, St. Francois, and currently MO K9 Friends. I’m a stay at home mom with a 16 and 21 y/o who’ve been very involved with my rescues. I’ve learned that every animal has their own unique personality, understanding that many times each animal requires something a little different than another. I like to get to know your fur baby before I start taking care of them. Knowing their likes and dislikes is very important so that I can make them feel as happy, comfortable, and stress free as possible.
Reviews
Liz, Thank you; thank you. With you caring for the dogs we can relax and enjoy. Plus the extras without even asking.
What can I say about Liz? Great. Thank you.
Another great dog care stay by Liz. Thank you.
Liz is the best.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not have a fenced in back yard but we go on several walks per day. I live extremely close to Queeny Park and several pet friendly stores. I occasionally will have a foster but I usually do puppies/kittens, and medical cases. Which I will let you know before hand. My house is large enough where I can easily have the foster separated for my clients fur baby. That being said I would NEVER take a new foster in at the same time I was watching a clients fur baby Or have your fur baby introduced without their humans present in a safe environment. All fur babies’ safety is very important! We have 3 cats (Lucky 10, Max 9, Penelope 3) in my home that have grown up around animals of all types. They are comfortable having fur babies of all ages and sizes pass through regularly. Rudy 3 and Candy 3 are my “foster fail” pups from the same litter. Rudy is a “service dog in training” who loves everyone and everything. Candy loves all animals but is still slightly fearful of humans (except for kids). That being said all introductions must be done at my house. We also have a rabbit rescue (Bunny) who has absolutely no fear of cats and dogs. My mother (66) also lives with myself and my kids. So your fur baby will have extra amounts of love and attention!

Information Elizabeth H. would like to know about your pet
The information that’s most important for me to know is if your fur baby has any reactivity towards food/toy/animal and/or humans. Knowing their likes, dislikes, fears, and what makes them feel safe is Vital to a great relationship between us! I’ve had experience with all ages and types of breeds (toy, working, “aggressive breeds”, etc).
A typical day
I take all dogs on a minimum of 1 long walk a day plus numerous potty break walks around the cul de sac while boarding with me. I adjust the amount of activity based on your fur baby’s age and/or needs. I live approximately 1 mile from Queeny Park and located a few miles from Several pet stores (if allowed for your pets). Plus we have several huge fields in my neighborhood where I can run dogs who require more exercise than others. Otherwise any activity your fur baby loves the most I will be happy to do for them! I spoil all visitors with toys, homemade treats and meal toppers (if allowed). My goal is to make you fur baby feel like they are the ones on vacation.
