Plenty of love! Hike/Walk/Jog/Visit

Pet care experience

I am a self employed Golden area business person with personal references and a flexible schedule. I have plenty of love to share with your pets, and am conscientious and have been caring for my own and my family pets since I was a child. I am mature and responsible. I am happy to walk/hike/jog with any age or size, I love them all. I am happy to stop in for visits and short walks, or energetic playtime. My goal is to have your pets feel a little love during the day, and to have all their needs met so they are happy and comfortable until you return. My favorite thing is a doggie smile! I look forward to visiting with your furry family members!

Elizabeth did a fantastic job watching my dog Sam. She made sure to send daily pictures, took him on long hikes and was always very responsive to his needs. I would 100% recommend her as a dog sitter -- thanks again Elizabeth!

Elizabeth, left my dog for 12 hours straight on one of the 3 days she watched my dog. Additionally, Elizabeth was not around the majority of the 3 nights and 3 1/2 days she was scheduled to dog sit. I'm quit sure Elizabeth did not stay over at my house during the three scheduled overnights. Bed Sheets and bath towels were not used? This is not due to being cleaned in advance of my arrival. Elizabeth was watching another dog at the same time she was watching Koda. I specifically requested a dog sitter that DID NOT take multiple dog sitting jobs at the same. time. Now it makes sense why my dog was left for 12 hours in a row and why Elizabeth was not around during her scheduled and paid dog sitting , Thursday, December 12 through Saturday, December 14, 2019. The good review from the other individual must be because that is where Elizabeth spent the majority of her time? I have door monitors and video recordings for my front and sliding door; it shows the exact time the front and sliding door open & closes. I learned through watching the video that Elizabeth was rarely at my house; and when she was there to let my dog out the walks were short, especially with the amount of time gone. I started having concerns and began watching the Xfinity recordings and tracking the times she was in and out. I was concerned for my dog that he was not being let out and was home alone the majority of the days and nights. When interviewing Elizabeth in person, I specifically asked her if she had time with her schedule ( teaching yoga) to walk Koda in the morning, let him out in the afternoon and a short walk in the evening. There was not mention of any other dog sitting or dog walking jobs at the same time she was watching Koda. I would not have hired her. I also wanted to make sure Elizabeth liked to walk and she said she did. I live in a townhouse where my dog must be let out for walks to go to the bathroom. I shared with Elizabeth I would be tipping, in addition to the daily charge. I was happy to pay more for her time , walk my dog and be around some of her stay with Koda. Unfortunately, that did not happen. On Saturday, I contacted Elizabeth after discovering she had been gone for 12 hours straight; leaving at 6:15 a..m. For 12 HOURS my dog had not been let out to go to the bathroom and he was alone. When Elizabeth did arrive at my house, she let Koda out for only 13 minutes; after being inside for 12 hours straight. Elizabeth confirmed her absence with an apology letter and refunding my entire amount of money I paid on Rover for her services. The reason I received this letter was Elizabeth's lack of presence as she was discovered through my video and door monitors I shared with Elizabeth I had the monitors when we met in person prior to her dog sitting. In her apology letter Elizabeth shared she took her dog sitting position seriously and just happened to be so busy. Thursday, 14 hours away. 7 1/2 hours, 15 minutes at my place to let my dog out and gone for another 6 1/2 hours. Finally home at 10:30 p.m. Friday: 11 hours away. One 20 minute stop during the middle of the day. Home at 8:30 p.m. Koda was let out for 10 minutes in the morning. Saturday: 12 hours away in a row; NO STOPS at my house. Left House at 6:15 a.m. Returned at 6:00 p.m. Koda went out for 13 minutes after being left for 12 hours straight. Koda went out in the morning for 8 minutes in the morning.

What a wonderful caretaker for our baby when we were gone. His favorite thing is walks and she took him on some incredible hikes! She must be a professional photographer because the many pictures she sent are beautiful! Thank you Elizabeth!

Elizabeth is very caring when it comes to animals. She has had a few dogs in the past that have had special needs. She took wonderful care of them, making sure they had the right combination of food to help with their allergies. I've seen her give her dog a haircut, trim nails and take them to Pet Supplies Plus to use the self serve bath area, as well as on car rides, several walks and hikes to keep them fit. I would recommend her with any of my pets.
