Nurturing and reliable house sitter

Pet care experience

I have loved animals ever since I was a little girl. I started caring for animals when I entered high school. Friends, family, and friends of family have trusted me to provide proper care for their animals. I have several clients that book me throughout the year because of our close relationship. I take care of all size animals. I have no pets of my own currently at my residence. I provide training if needed for your fury friend. I also provide a safe and comfortable environment for your pets! I have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I will be with your animals at all times. Sunday-Saturday. Pet care is my main priority. I also have a roommate who also does rover. She knows the dogs schedules and helps out whenever I have a work call, meeting, or errands to run. I have a spacious three bedroom apartment with a terrace. The terrace has a lock and cannot be opened by pets. We have a large living room dedicated to the dogs and a dedicated room for them as well. Outside of my apartment is a huge field perfect for playing and running around. All pets have a dedicated room to keep any personal belongings like beds, toys, and extra supplies. The animals are allowed everywhere in the apartment. If the animals would like to sleep with me they are more than welcomed to. If they prefer sleeping by themselves they have beds all throughout the apartment to choose from. We follow your schedule! If you prefer us maintaining our own personal schedule let me know! If not we follow your routine :) I wake up at 6:30am everyday. I feed the dogs first and then take them for a morning walk at 7:00am. Lunch is at 12:30-1:00pm. They get fed and then go for there second walk of the day (30minutes) In between lunch and dinner we have play time depending on the weather. If the weather is bad we play inside, if not we go out to the fenced yard and play. Dinner is at 6:30-7:00. They get there last long walk around 7:30. We allow the dogs to go out onto the grass pad WITH there leash if they have an emergency. The final walk is at 10:00 (10 minutes) We have dog gates for all areas of the apartment in case we have to clean, cook, or do anything the dogs shouldn’t be around for safety reasons. We have a big white gate for the living room that stays open at all times for them unless we have to clean the floors. This way they have a big space to stay in for the time being. Our terrace has a lock that cannot be opened by pets whatsoever. Our terrace has cement walls which prevents anyone or anything from falling. We have the grass pad on the terrace and the dogs are always safe and supported if they choose to use it.

Elizabeth was great with Harley. She sent many updates and he looked like he was having the time of his life. Highly recommend.

Elizabeth dog sat my pup Charlie for 12 days and she was absolutely amazing! She sent pics and videos everyday. She was communicative and took the best care of Charlie. I felt more at ease with Charlie in her care while I was on vacation than I ever have. Thanks again!

Could not be more appreciative and thankful for the great job Liz did with our dog Liz watched our dog for 16 nights. Our dog is not the easiest to deal with. She’s great with people but can be aggressive to other dogs. I never worried after speaking with Liz, meeting her and seeing how our dog liked her. We received daily messages from Liz, which included pictures and videos. Response time to any questions or messages was pretty much immediate. I really sensed that our dog was well taken care of and happy to be around Liz. I feel lucky that we found a great dog sitter who lives not too far away from us. We would highly recommend Liz and will definitely use her for any future dog sitting needs. If we could rate her higher than 5 stars, we would

If it was possible to give ZERO stars I would. She is the most immature, irresponsible person I have ever dealt with. Not only did we do a meet and greet 10 days ahead of time for a hour she consistently confirmed that the stay was booked. All the way up until our 9pm drop off she was OK. I paid $60 for a UBER to get my dog to her to only get there with everything completely unorganized. She took forever to come outside to meet me and I had nowhere to go because she lives in a huge complex with no entry. And about 5 pit ulls were outside with a group barking at my dig like crazy.. I know that part is put of her control BUT...She shows up with her roommate downstairs and takes my dog up with them. 30 minutes later she is calling saying she needs to drop him off because my dog is very anxious around her boyfriend.....what?! So she pulls up to my house with her boyfriend dragging my dog to the house and my dog is obviously terrified. I immediately tell her boyfriend to let my dog go and that I am on the phone with Rover and he does and Blue runs immediately into the house. Neighbor said the car was full of people so maybe they were going out of town I am not sure. This was the worst experience EVER for my dog. I ended up not being able to fly out for my best friend's wedding the next morning because I had no sitter. So I missed that, spent $60 on a UBER which won't be refunded and would not recommend this little girl to anyone! I know Rover background checks people but please be aware this girl is very immature and put my dogs safety last and her and her boyfriend and friends time together first. Elizabeth you are a horrible sitter and shouldn't be allowed to work for Rover!

Information Elizabeth H. would like to know about your pet

It’s important that I know the dogs personality, diet, adoption story, feelings towards people, feelings towards other animals, and any special needs. Do they need grass to use the bathroom? Do they pull on leashes? Do they have anxiety? This is important because it allows me to provide the best care for your animal!

A typical day

I love to take the dogs on nice long walks so they can explore and use the bathroom with no rush. I am always willing to play for long periods at a time with the animals!
