BRANTFORD'S TOP SMALL DOG SITTER We have been pet owners for over twenty-five years. Looking after pets is the best 'job' we have ever had. We have been foster parents with a reputable rescue and have had some very sad cases come to us for decompression and medical issues. Thankfully all have left happy and healthy and are living their best lives in their forever homes. Why leave your best friend in a kennel, all alone, when they can spend quality family time with another dog loving family? I am at home and can spend all my time with your pet. Is your pup on a special diet? No problem! Catering to your beloved family member is what we do best. The house is generally quiet for those pets that may be shy or timid of new experiences. We have also established a good rapport with a local vet and have an emergency vet clinic close by should any need arise with your pet. Please leave all your emergency information with us before your trip! We have two dogs (Darcy and Theo) in our home. They are calm dogs that appreciate their own space but enjoy the company of other dogs. We accept bookings every day of the week. We also accept extended bookings. *I have my Animal First Aid and CPR certification.* *We specialize in caring for small dogs and senior dogs*

Kitsune had a great, overnight stay. We got lots of pictures, and it seems she made a new friend. We are anxious pawrents and are comfortable with, and looking forward to, when Kitsune has a longer stay in about a month.

Kitsune had a short but happy stay with Elizabeth & Gary. This stay was partially to get her acquainted with them and their lovely dogs, prior to a longer stay and board. We got lots of pictures of our dog, and we all look forward to her next stay.
Beth & Gary were Heaven sent... One of our 2 pups is in his senior years and we were so concerned about taking him to the regular kennel we had used for 15 years with all the chaos and excitement of being with many other dogs in actual barred compounds ... Both he (14 yrs) and our younger (6 yr) pup were absolutely treated like part of Beth & Garys family! Being in a private home with their "foster Mom & Dad" was a comfort to us and evidently to them too as was obvious in all the great pics they sent us - the two of them just seemed to settle in and enjoy the company of Beth & Gary's little pups! I would highly recommend taking "the leap" to this private home for the care of your pups under the loving and heartfelt attention that Beth & Gary foster. We just picked them up after a 3 day stay - they were happy and had no bowel or intestinal issues (which we experienced after a kennel stay) and are booked in 3 weeks for our 2 week vacation and we are so comforted knowing they will be loved and cared for as they are with us🥰 Thank you Beth & Gary!!! You're the BESTEST🐶🐶❤️

We use pet gates for the top of the stairs. Is your dog able to use the stairs or should they be kept upstairs? There are 2 steps down from our kitchen to the deck and 1 step down from the deck to the grass. Will your dog need assistance with that? Is your dog able to get up and down from the furniture on their own? The other gates inside are to assist with slow introduction to newcomers and for relaxed feeding schedules. Please be assured that our introduction system has been extremely effective. Every dog has their own anxiety level and we do everything to make their stay as stress free as possible. Please let us know the level of attention your dog is used to and how you show it. We appreciate every detail you can give us about your beloved pet! We can never have too much information.

We would like to know the tempermant of the dog and whether it has been socialized with other dogs? Is your pet up to date in regards to their immunization? Is your dog shy or exuberant? This lets us know what level of stimulation is appropriate for your pup.
A typical day
We walk down to the park and on the trails that are near our home. During the spring, summer and fall, we spend a lot of time in the backyard on the deck, which is shaded. If it is too hot then we play or relax inside. In the winter we spend time playing fetch in the backyard if it's not too cold. Please provide a coat if your dog requires one. We do have extras if needed. During the day we have quiet music playing and at night we have sound machines on to help keep out any disturbing sounds.

Availability
We ask each pet parent to provide the schedule for their dogs habits. This helps us to keep your dog comfortable and healthy for their stay. Are there any medical issues and what medications need to be given and when? Do they enjoy walking or is there a reason for no walk needed? We have a fully fenced back yard for play where they can spend time in the sun or shade and there is a park nearby for walks.
