Home Away From Home!

Pet care experience

Having relocated to Clovis in 2014 moving away from the support of family and friends, we were forced to board our dogs in a kennel anytime we wanted to travel. Kennel boarding brought on anxiety of leaving our dogs where they would spend all of their time confined for the duration of their stay. The costs & stress of boarding add up for a families who choose to make animals a central part of their life. Planning day trips, weekend getaways or long vacations becomes challenging and expensive. I've rescued, fostered, rehabilitated and helped find permanent homes for many animals in need over the past 20+ years. My goal is to provide your pets with the love & attention they are used to in your home so you can afford to travel without the extra baggage of worry. All my dogs are kept up to date on vaccines, flea/tic prevention and are spayed & neutered. While your pets are with me they’ll get love and attention from our whole family in a safe clean environment and lots of play! ***Overnight boarding rate includes drop off as early as 8am and pick up by 12pm. A late pick up charge of $12 per dog will be added for pick up between 12pm and 2pm. Pick up after 2pm is subject to a daycare rate of $24 per dog. Pick up after 5pm is subject to the full overnight boarding rate. If your travel plans fall outside of these requirements, please ask. I will do my best to accommodate your needs***

Amazing! Elizabeth went above and beyond with our pup! She took the time to individually introduce our dog to each of her dogs, which really was a positive experience. Sent many photo and text updates which was very appreciated. Our dog came home so well behaved and happy( actually sad because he had to leave his friends) thank you so much! We will definitely be having our pupper stay again soon!

Elizabeth is incredible!!! My puppy loves going to stay with her! He gets so excited every time we drive up to her home. She is flexible with scheduling and always responds quickly. I am SO thankful to have found her so that I can give my puppy a safe and fun environment to play in while I'm busy with work!

I feel so lucky to have found Elizabeth on Rover. I have had two surgeries this year and needed help walking my schnauzer as I recovered. Elizabeth is compassionate and her love of animals is so evident. She always gave my Buddy a great walk and was helpful to me when I needed something extra. If you need any help with your pets, I recommend Elizabeth!

Elizabeth is by far my favorite! We had a last minute booking since our original sitter canceled the evening before we left for our vacation. I was a little nervous since we weren’t able to have a meet and greet. Elizabeth made me feel at ease and introduced her dogs one by one to Kobie so she wouldn’t be overwhelmed. Right off the bat, Kobie was playing and having fun. She sent pictures about 30 mins after we left assuring me Kobie was ok and didn’t even whine or cry for us. I continued to get updates throughout the day and cute pictures of her playing. It made me feel so much better knowing how she was doing and also that she was able to be herself just as if she was at home. Not locked up in a kennel all day! I will definitely be using her again.

Information Elizabeth G. would like to know about your pet

While we work hard to respect the boundaries of each dog who stays with us, we’re in a family environment and dogs have open access to the house. Your dog should be comfortable around other dogs and kids. If your pup has anxiety, it will help us to know this to better care for them. While I don't have breed preferences, we do have an indoor outdoor cat who is very "dog savvy". Known cat aggressive dogs would be better off boarded with another family. It is also beneficial to know if your pet has any known allergies, illnesses or has any needs beyond what I have mentioned. An additional charge of $15 per dog will be added for pick up after 12pm.

A typical day

We love taking walks in our neighborhood to discharge energy and play tug of war and fetch out back. During hot summer months most dogs enjoy playing with the hose for fun! We have our lazy moments too.
