Professional & Experienced

Pet care experience

**FULLY VACCINATED** I have experience with kittens and cats, senior dogs, special needs dogs, dog-reactive dogs, rambunctious puppies, and special needs puppies. I am very passionate about loving all animals for their unique personalities! Your dog or cat is not just another customer or money-maker to me, but a sweet (or sassy), little (or big) soul who I will enjoy caring for like my own. Thank you for considering me to take care of your four-legged family member! IMPORTANT TO NOTE: > I am flexible with my rates depending on your needs—just please ask in our first few messages! I do not “negotiate” during meet and greets/in person. > I require a meet and greet with you and your pet before any first time service. The meeting must start in an open/outdoor or public area before moving into your home. If more than just you and your pet will be at the meet and greet, I need to know. I will do the same for you if I have anybody with me. > If you are a repeat customer, feel free to ask about house sitting, or if there is a service you don’t see offered and need, please ask! I love helping out when I can! > I can do drop-ins and let dogs of any size out in a fenced back yard, but I cannot walk any dogs over 65 lb., and I will not walk any dogs over 30 lb. if they pull on the leash or are reactive. My greyhound is 60 lb. and I walk her daily, but she rarely pulls on the leash. If a heavier dog were to constantly pull, I would have to decline walking him/her for their safety and my own. Additionally, I will not use a retractable leash for any dog over 20lb. I’ve read they can be dangerous for the dog. I have my own leash if all you have is retractable. Thank you for understanding.

Elizabeth was great as a cat sitter again! She was available last minute during the holidays and very communicative and thoughtful about my cat staying warm enough in the snow storm. Thanks, Elizabeth!

Elizabeth was a great sitter to our herd! The dogs really liked her and I'm sure they're already waiting for her to come back. We're very excited the we found someone that cares about our animals as much as we do, so there's no stress when we're away from home!

Elizabeth was a fantastic sitter! She gave great updates and spent plenty of time giving my sweet cat attention. Will definitely book again!

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety is my primary concern. I stay off my phone and give your pet my full attention while with them. I do my best to read their cues and give them whatever they need to make them feel comfortable and safe with me. Please know that I am very serious about making sure your fur baby is never neglected. Animals are like little people to me and I treat them all with love and respect.

Information Elizabeth G. would like to know about your pet

- Special needs or medications? - Any health issues, allergies, injuries? - Known fears or anxiety triggers? - Any specific training you are working on? - Treats allowed? - House rules? (Allowed on furniture, etc.?)

A typical day

I can give your pup a brisk walk (unfortunately, I am not in shape enough for runs!) or play fetch or any other play they enjoy. I will sit with them, pet them, talk to them, feed them, work on any “tricks” they know, take them to a park they enjoy or even just a car ride—almost anything they need that you ask of me, I am willing to do. And if I can’t, I will be honest with you so that you can find someone who is a better fit. Your pet’s needs are what is most important to me, not making money off of them.
